Scholarships and Bursaries – How to apply
If you are a deserving student, with ABR-E-KARAM Scholarships and/or Bursaries Scheme it is easy to apply for financial assistance or interest-free loan (Sadqa e Jaria). Just download the application form for Scholarship from the DOWNLOADS section of our web site, send a detailed e-mail at [email protected], contact by phone at 0300-6852559 or WhatsApp at +92 334 0426512. You will be contacted for a brief interview, if necessary.
The ABR-E-KARAM TRUSTEES will make an independent inquiry regarding student’s financial status and Executive Body will make the final decision. If the information needed from student’s side is complete, the whole process should not take more than 15 days. As the available funds are always limited, ABR-E-KARAM TRUST can only choose the most deserving ones among the applicants. Selection criteria are based on the academic achievements, family’s income, parental status (such as orphans etc.) and number of dependents in the family.
The most Scholarships are awarded to Primary, Middle and Matric students belonging to a village or small town of District Bahawalpur, Pakistan. In special cases, intermediate, graduation/post graduation and professional Degree students may also be considered. Granted Scholarship recipients are expected to pay it back in sponsoring a needy student like him/her when they are employed (or have income) after completion of their education.
Eligibility Criteria
At present, with limited resources, theABR-E-KARAM TRUST is offering monthly or lum sum scholarships as described above in the District Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
Eligible to Apply
Regular students of:
1. Abr-e-Karam Model School(s)
2. Government schools and Institutes
3. Registered/Recognized Institutes
4. Having more than 70% marks
5. Orphans (and Single Parent Families)
6. Physically disabled students
7. Children of ABR-E-KARAM TRUST employees or volunteers
8· Unfortunate/underprivileged families facing acute financial hardship
is unique in many ways. This is perhaps one of the very few organizations that aims solely to serve people living in villages and rural areas where no one seems interested to pay attention. It is a multi-dimensional charitable organization to encompass services that are needed by the people of villages such as schools, education supplies, hospitals, health care, scholarships and bursaries, safety and first response training, emergency ambulance & patient transfer services; and skill development – all FREE of cost for poor and deserving.
